Define Intent Qualification

You can define the target device scope for the seed intent template to replicate intent in the Intent Qualification section.

Define in Device-based Replication Mode

1. In the Intent Qualification section, define the target device in two methods.

• Define via Dynamic Search method: Define the qualified devices via conditions. For more information, see Dynamic Search.
  Select All Devices, then define the conditions and expression.
  
  
  
  • You can also define the target devices using Static Method.
    • Under the Static method you can Include and Exclude the devices. When you click + Include Devices, you can see the Select Device window.
    • As per your preference you can select the Hostname.
    • Click ">" to add that hostname into the right pane and then click OK. You can select multiple hostname and to add them into the right pane.
      
• Define via Device Groups/Sites method: Qualify devices by the defined device groups, Sites, or you can create new device group.

Define in Path-based Replication Mode

You can also define via Command Qualification.

1. In the Intent Qualification section, click the Command Qualification hyperlink (0/2) to define Intent Parser Qualification.
   
   
2. Click Undefined in the Intent Parser Qualification dialog.
