Audit Log
The system provides the capability to record user activities and operations for auditing purposes. Plus, the system also generates logs to record logins and executed commands on devices. The relevant data is recorded in audit log for device access. By default, the two audit functions are disabled.
To enable the two log functions, do the following:
- Log in to System Management Page.
Note: Initially, both the User Operation and Device Access options are turned off. - In the Advanced Settings tab, select the Enable Audit Log for User Operation checkbox, and click the
icon to specify the retention period.
- In the Advanced Settings tab, select the Enable Audit Log for Device Access checkbox, and click the
icon to specify the retention period.
Note: By default, the Device Access setting is set to 1 Month. - To view detailed audit logs, go to Home Page > Audit Logs for User Operation or Audit Logs for Device Access to check and export the logs, respectively.
Tip: You can enter keywords in the following columns to search audit logs: Username, Machine Name, IP Address, and Message.
