The NetBrain system will only generate the map when the appropriate initiating event conditions are captured in Automation Trigger. These initiating event conditions must be carefully defined, but there is no single correct answer. Many reasonable conditions can be defined to generate the same information, but always attempt to look for the most efficient approach.
To complete our triggered automation example creation, we will construct a simple trigger that will fire when the Configuration Item in the ServiceNow Incident report is not empty containing a device name.
1.In the NetBrain ServiceNow application, click Trigger Rules.
2.In the Trigger Rules screen, click New.
3.In the Trigger Rule New Record screen, enter the following values:

4.Click Submit to create the automation Trigger Rule.
5.Confirm that the newly created trigger rule, Dynamic Neighbor Map – Map Only, has a status of “Active / True” in the list of available Trigger Rules.
