If you want to collaborate with your team through your map or dashboard files, you need to share it first and then release its editing rights proactively. After releasing the editing rights, you will become a viewer and the file becomes unclaimed.

The first user who clicks the share link first will get its editing rights. Once the map or dashboard file is closed, the editing rights will be released again.

Releasing Map Editing Rights

1.On the target map, click Map > Editing Rights on the map toolbar.

2.Click Release Editing Rights. The View Only tag is appended to the map name.

Releasing Dashboard Editing Rights

1.On the target dashboard, click the icon from the dashboard toolbar and select Editing Rights from the drop-down menu.

2.Click Release Editing Rights. The View Only tag is appended to the dashboard name.
