If you want to collaborate with your team through one of your maps or dashboard, you need to share it first and then release its editing rights proactively. After releasing the editing rights of the map or dashboard, you become a viewer, and the map or dashboard stays unclaimed.

The first user who opens the map or dashboard by clicking the share link will automatically get the editing rights. Once the map or dashboard is closed by the user, the editing rights is released again.

Releasing Map Editing Rights

1.On the target map, click Map > Editing Rights on the map toolbar.

2.Click Release Editing Rights. After releasing the editing rights, the View Only tag is appended to the map name.

Releasing Dashboard Editing Rights

1.On the target dashboard, click the icon from the dashboard toolbar and select Editing Rights from the drop-down menu.

2.Click Release Editing Rights. You can only view the dashboard after releasing the editing rights. The View Only tag is appended to the dashboard name.
