Data View

A Data View is a neat way of presenting information on a dynamic map in the form of layers. Any desired layer (Data View) can be shown on the map at will; this removes the clutter that exists in most documentation sets and also saves time and trouble.

Dynamic Map

A Dynamic Map is a powerful replacement for traditional Visio-type diagrams. Instead of creating a map with static information, a Dynamic Map uses data from multiple sources that can update documentation either on a schedule or in real-time.

Instant Qapp

Instant Qapp is a scaled-down version of full-blown Qapp that allows simple drag-and-drop retrieval of data by using parsers. Once on the map, alerts can be set to help visualize the data for the task at hand, in addition to color codes. Once users add the right data on the map, they can save the Instant Qapp into a full Qapp, which allows more advanced annotations and reporting.

NetBrain

NetBrain is an Adaptive Network Automation™ Platform, bringing the dynamic map and runbook capabilities to workflows (processes), tools, and technology.

Qapp
(Quick Automation Application)

A Qapp is an application that is built on the Qapp Automation Framework. This allows data to be collected from multiple sources (SNMP, CLI, Config, API, etc.), analyzed, and then annotated in many different ways.

Runbook

Runbooks are executable procedures within the NetBrain platform. Runbook can be used to define a process, and collect information throughout its execution. As processes are updated, Runbooks can be used to easily disseminate these changes across entire organizations.

Single Pane of Glass

Data views pull information from multiple data sources to a map, creating a single pane of glass.
