NetBrain Problem Diagnosis Automation System (PDAs) helps provide powerful Diagnosis automation and preventive measures. However, the setup of PDAs requires integration with the ticket system, which could be challenging and time-consuming. To provide a quick integration for PDAs, V10.1.1 adds a new method, Triggered Diagnosis by Email, to trigger a diagnosis. The following functions are provided:
• Export an Email template from an Incident Type.
• Fill in the data of the Email template and send an email to the NetBrain IE system.
• Upon receiving this email, the IE system will create an Incident, match and trigger a Diagnosis, and reply with a link to the Incident Pane.
Both Static Diagnosis and Dynamic Diagnosis can be triggered via email, but we recommend Static Diagnosis as the best practice.
