It might take a while to rebuild all sites if you have a large network to manage. In case of any unexpected network outage, you can back up all site definitions into a .zip file before rebuilding sites, and then import them back afterward to avoid the site data lost.

1.Log in to the Domain Management page.

2.In the Domain Management page, click Site on the Start Page or select Operations > Site Manager from the quick access toolbar.

3.In the Site Manager, right-click the My Network node in the site tree and then select Backup Site Definition from the drop-down menu.

4.Click the hyperlink in the pop-up dialog box to download the backup site definition file.

5.Click OK. The default location of the exported file is C:\Users\<your username>\Downloads.

Tip: To import the backup file, right-click the My Network node and then select Load Site Definition. Select the .zip file and click Open. The current site definition will be overwritten.
