Network Intent (NI) provides a way to document network design intent, allowing other engineers to quickly understand the device's design and baseline or normal state of a particular device. It also provides a way to validate and verify network design. See Using Network Intent to Document and Validate Network Design for more details.

1.On a map, select Actions > Network Intent from the map toolbar.

Tip: If a runbook has already been opened, the Network Intent node will be added to the current runbook; otherwise, it will be added to personal runbook.

2.In the Select Network Intent dialog, select the NY DC1 HSRP Intent, and click OK.

3.You can add more Network Intent or click the icon to set the share alert email and execution log mode.

4.Click Run.

5.After the execution is finished, view its result, or click the intent name to view more details.
