The Device node is extended from the Device Queue node. It is used to specify which device column in the Device Queue node the Qapp will execute in the downstream command node.

If a row in the Device Queue node has multiple device columns, you need to add different device nodes. For example, if you build devices in the Neighbor Pair pattern in the Device Queue node, you need to define two device nodes, with one node to execute a CLI command on this device, and the other one to execute a CLI command on this device’s neighbor.

Defining a Device node

1.Click the icon on the Device Queue node and extend a Device node.

Note: The device can be this, nbr, prev or next, depending on the settings you selected in Device Queue.

2.Modify the name in the Node Name field if necessary.

3.In the Select a device column drop-down menu, select a device column from the Device Queue node.
