Enhanced Module Security

You can make configurations to enhance module security on System Management Page > Advanced Settings tab. NetBrain does not enforce restriction on the python script in terms of what libraries user can call or cannot call so that by taking advantage of some system libraries, users can write a python script to launch some unwanted processes which are not in the control of NetBrain. Therefore, to control the security risk caused, the 'Enhanced Module Security' function is developed.

• Enable: If Enhanced Module Security is enabled, NetBrain will forbid the OS-level python functions throughout system, which will affect modules including Qapp, parser, Plugins, Parser.
• Disable (the default setting): If you don't have this security concern, you can select Disable to turn off this feature.
