CLI Template

The system offers several built-in CLI templates for you to bulk add CLI commands to your task and also allows you to create your own templates. Inside a template, you can define the applicable device types for each CLI command as qualifications. Then, by loading a CLI template into your tasks, such as Runbook, Benchmark, etc., you can leverage the predefined qualifications to exclude improper commands from the execution scope.

The system provides two ways for you to access the CLI template:

• From the Start menu:
  
  
• From Execute CLI Node in Runbook:

  Note: You can add different device types for a single CLI command in different templates. When you add duplicate commands by loading templates into a task, the device types defined in different templates will be combined.

  Tip: The templates in the Built-in folder are maintained by NetBrain through Knowledge Cloud.
