Specify Data Source for Building ADT Columns

In the previous versions, the data source for building ADT columns is configured when ADT columns are defined. With the introduction of the default data source configured at t domain level, you have the flexibility to specify a data source for building ADT column groups.

• Manually Build ADT Columns:
  

• Use settings in the current ADT: This option is selected by default if default data source at domain level is not enabled. Column groups are built using the predefined data source.
• Use (Live Data / Cached Data / ADT Dataset): If the default data source in the domain is enabled, this option is automatically selected. The data source used for building column groups will align with the one defined in the domain, overriding the predefined data source settings in ADT. However, the data source for building column group predefined in ADT will not be changed.

• Auto-Build ADT Columns: The logic for the two options “Use settings in the current ADT”, “Use” is the same as in “Manually Build ADT Columns”.
  
  

Several Rules for Default Data Source Settings:

• If the default data source at the domain level is enabled, existing ADTs will retain their current data source settings and will not be affected.
• Upon upgrading to this new version, the default data source in the domain is not enabled by default. For auto-build ADT, the data source is initially set to "Use settings in the current ADT" by default.
