Update Intent Baseline
The Intent Baseline is a snapshot of device commands stored within an NI. It includes the following data:
- Original Command Output Text: This encompasses the raw output from various command types, such as CLI, SNMP, API, Ping, Traceroute, and configuration files.
- Baseline Values of Variables: These are the reference values of variables used in intent diagnosis, specifically for operations involving "Compare with Baseline."
- Timestamp: Timestamps are recorded for both the original command output text and each baseline value of variables, facilitating baseline updates and debugging processes.
You can update baseline for intent and intent variable with the following four methods:
- Automatically update the intent baseline at the intent level before NI execution.
- Automatically update the intent baseline at the diagnosis level during NI execution.
- Automatically Initialize during NI Replication.
- Manually Initialize during NI Creating/Editing.
