Test the Incoming Incident Type

1. Click Test in the New Incident Type window or Edit Incident Type window.
2. In the Test Incident Type window, input the value of the corresponding data field, such as short description, number, etc.
3. Click Test.

The system prints out the execution log with the following outputs:

• The values of custom variables if they are defined.
• The matched incident type
• Generated signature
• The Incident to be merged into or a new incident
• Incident message
• The incident message created by the Guidebook or Runbook
• Click the button View Result in Incident to view the matched Incident in Incident Pane.
