Device Diagnosis Block

You can define a device diagnosis block without SNMP/CLI/Config/API command, which enables intent to be used as a shell, just to execute the subsequent follow-up intents. This kind of diagnosis can also be used to define the diagnosis based on built-in device data only, e.g., device route table or NCT.

  1. In the NI Edit Mode, select Add Device Diagnosis from the drop-down list of Add Command. And then select a device for the device diagnosis.

  2. Define the device diagnosis.
    • Same as the definition in CLI diagnosis.

    • Use Device Status Codes: To know if there is an error status code in any of the diagnosis of the current device.

  3. You can view the device diagnosis shown as the last diagnosis of the current device after it is added in the action table, and it can also be edited, deleted, and moved up/down.

  4. (Optional) View this device diagnosis node in the diagnosis tree.
