Tuning Options
The tuning options are effective for each device in the current domain.
Tuning Mode and Access Mode | Options |
Auto Set Device Settings — overwrite the outdated access credentials in the Shared Device Settings with the correct credentials got by polling the credentials in the Network Settings. | ▪Management IP — overwrite Management IP addresses according to the interface type priority in the Live Access Settings if the system fails to access the Management IP in the Shared Device Settings. ▪Login Username/Password — overwrite the outdated Tenet/SSH login credentials in the Shared Device Settings. ▪Privilege Username/Password — overwrite the login credentials of privileged mode in the Shared Device Settings. ▪SNMP Community — overwrite the SNMP community in the Shared Device Settings. ▪Lock Shared Device Settings if tuning succeeds — the access credentials in the Shared Device Settings for the successfully accessed devices will not be changed by any other live access activities (such as rediscovery). |
Verify Device Settings — only verify the credentials in Shared Device Settings without overwriting the outdated ones. | ▪Management IP — verify the Management IP in the Shared Device Settings ▪Login Username/Password — verify the Tenet/SSH login credentials in the Shared Device Settings
▪SNMP Community — verify the SNMP community in the Shared Device Settings |
Access Mode — specify an access method according to the configuration on your devices for the Auto Set Device Settings mode. | ▪Telnet Only — only use Telnet to access devices. ▪SSH Only — only use SSH to access devices. ▪Both Telnet and SSH — use Telnet and SSH to access devices. |
Lock Shared Device Settings if tuning succeeds | ▪Lock Management IP — Management IP will not be changed by other tasks. ▪Lock Front Server Settings — The selected Front Server will not be changed by other tasks. ▪Lock CLI/SNMP Credentials — The credentials will not be changed by other tasks. |
