Save as Runbook Template

To share knowledge with junior network engineers, you can save a golden runbook as a runbook template. When saving a runbook as a template, you can select which results will be saved. Only the selected action results of the action nodes will be saved to the template as the inputs. The target devices and execution results of other action nodes will be discarded.

1. Click the icon to select Save as Runbook Template.

2. Select the action nodes you want to include in the template, and then click Save. If an action has multiple execution results, you can click each execution result to browse its action input and pick out an appropriate one.
     

3. Specify a meaningful name for the template and then specify a location to save the template. Click OK.
4. Click Runbook Template on the taskbar to navigate the Runbook Template Manager to browse the saved template.
