Note: The decode commands will be sent to Front server only if Live is selected in the Decode Settings and start within one minute. If other settings are selected, the commands will be sent to Worker and start decoding immediately. |
The results of intent decoding may be treated differently depending on whether you have selected an intent timer for this NIT.
- If no intent timer for this intent is selected, the intent baseline data will be saved in the default intent timer.
- If the intent timer for this intent is selected, the intent baseline data will be saved in the selected intent timer.
As NIT is installed in the Intent-based Automation Center, the intent will be subject to initial decoding. If the time of initial decoding overlaps with the time of Decode Now, the system will treat the two operations differently.
Example:
Case 1: If you click Decoded Now before the initial decoding is started, the two operations will be combined, and the baseline data decoding will be executed only once. The final results of this baseline data decoding will be updated to the intent timer you set up for this intent (intent timer “Weekly Friday 6PM”).
Case 2: If Decode Now is initiated when initial decoding is already in process, the Decode Now process will be scheduled to run during the next period.
- Initial decoding is performed, and the results of initial decoding are updated to the default timer.
- The Decode Now process will be performed during the next period, and the results will be updated to the intent timer you set up for this intent (intent timer “Weekly Friday 6PM”).
