NewCo Boston Recap: Building a Market Leader in Network Management

by Apr 20, 2018

On a seasonally warm day in April, NetBrain hosted more than 30 attendees at our global headquarters in Burlington, MA, as part of Mass TLC’s NewCo Boston festival. We joined over 50 of Boston’s most inspiring companies to learn, connect and celebrate tech in the Greater Boston area. After a light lunch, we took to a midday discussion around what makes NetBrain a market leader in a rapidly evolving networking industry.

Couldn’t make it to the event? We got you covered. Here’s a recap of what you missed:

Who we are. NetBrain is a global team with over 300 NetBrainiacs in Burlington, Beijing, Sacramento, Munich, Toronto and London. Our Network Automation platform offers network engineers much-needed visibility to make troubleshooting, documenting and managing the network easier than ever before through Dynamic Maps, Executable Runbooks and a rich API framework.

Questions from the crowd. We couldn’t end our NewCo Boston event without a quick Q&A from the audience. A couple of our favorite questions:

  • How does NetBrain attract millennial talent in an increasingly competitive tech market? Attracting the millennial workforce has been a common theme across industries in recent years, and the same can be said for IT. Fortunately, NetBrain’s creative culture offers employees of all ages the flexibility and innovation that’s unparalleled across the industry.
  • Why would a potential customer choose NetBrain over its competitors? Simple: NetBrain’s solution gives network engineers hours back in their day to work on tasks that are important to them, not just mundane (though crucial!) troubleshooting and documentation work. From our Dynamic Maps to weekly trainings and live support, NetBrain understands the network engineer’s plight more than any competitor.

With the network industry increasingly focused on fine-tuning and streamlining the network engineer’s job for efficiency, NetBrain will become increasingly indispensable to teams interested in driving more actionable network insights.
