A global media company leverages NetBrain to consolidate three data centers without a single outage

Datacenter consolidations often take months or years to finish. As reported by this global media company, on average, there are about 10 network outages per migration.

NetBrain was brought in to overcome this challenge.  It started with inventory.  With NetBrain, the entire network infrastructure inside three datacenters was discovered and documented in both Layer 2 and Layer 3 form.

The network consolidation was then carefully planned inside NetBrain. The before and after status of network topology, routing and other important information was benchmarked for each step along the way. 

On the day of implementation, nothing was left to chance as NetBrain Workstation had automatically verified the intended modifications and secured any un-desired changes.

After these flurries of success, today, NetBrain is part of this global media company’s change management process. Every change must to be NetBrain-verified before it is considered done.
