What is this IP address?

Step 1 » Search the IP Address

Enter the IP address in the “Search” area in the “Home” ribbon bar. Click the “Search” button to search it in current network workspace.

After the search finished, all matched results will be shown in the Search Result Pane. All interfaces whose network includes the IP address will be listed here; all device groups including the matched devices will be listed here too.

Step 2 » Map the Device

Select each matched device interface in the left tree, and then you can see the interface configuration in the right area.  You can drag-and-drop the device interface to a map for more:

With the device icon in map, you can extend its neighbor, or monitor its CPU and memory utilization, etc.

Step 3 » Work on the Device More

Right click any matched device and work on it by the context menu, e.g. Telnet/SSH it, Ping or trace it, view it’s configuration file / routing table, etc:

You can view the device’s basic information within Device Settings UI:

Step 4 » Map the End System

If this IP address is belong to an end system, e.g. a host PC or a server, you can see which switch port it is connected and other helpful information in the search result pane:

Select the matched entry and click the floating “Map” button, you can create level 2 map for it:
