Step 1 » Find Core Network Devices
Within the current workspace, search for devices whose hostname has string “core”, and then add all of them to a new device group named “Core Network”.
Step 2 » Map Core Network
Create a new map, right click Map Device Group and choose this newly created device group “Core Network” to draw on map.
Step 3 » Benchmark Current Data
Click Benchmark then Retrieve Live Data on the map floating bar to collect config file and route table of every device of the device group. Make sure to perform this both before and after the network change, and save them separately.
Step 4 » Compare Data Change
Click Compare then Compare Config & Routing from the map floating bar, and in the window appears choose the data folder “Before Change” and “After Chang” to compare.
Step 5 » View Compare Result
Compare Result Pane shows the comparison results of both Route Table and Config File.

Note that routing entry “172.16.16.0/24” doesn’t show up in “After Change” folder.

After examining the configuration file change, we notice that the interface belongs to 172.16.16.0/24 is shutdown.
