NetBrain Discovery and Inventory Appliance
The NetBrain Discovery and Inventory Appliance (DAP) is a Network Discovery and Network Inventory Maintenance solution. It is designed for large enterprises and network outsourcing service providers, where accurate and comprehensive knowledge about networks is essential and the cost of error prohibitive. The NetBrain Discovery Appliance shares the same network discovery algorithm as NetBrain Workstation but with a more advanced discovery engine. In a large network, the Discovery Appliance can discover up to 2,000 network devices per hour. For network re-discovery, it can run as fast as 10,000 devices per hour. The Discovery Appliance also offers customizable support for multi-vendor products.
